Townsmen - A Kingdom Rebuilt, developed by Handy Games, is a city-building game set in medieval times. The game starts with a small village which you have to develop into a massive medieval metropolis with thousands of inhabitants. Your role as a player is to guide your people from their first steps to becoming a successful kingdom.

In order to achieve this, you need to plan and construct a city with the help of architects and builders. You also need to ensure that your citizens have various needs met, to keep them happy and the tax coins rolling. The game has a complex economy simulation and deep production chains, with over 150 different town and production buildings. Seasons and weather effects influence gameplay, and citizens have their own daily routines with different demands.

The game offers 26 diverse scenarios and challenging tasks, including optional military features with soldiers and bandits. Additionally, the game has an unrestricted endless mode on 24 maps. Every single deed rewards you with experience points, allowing you to research techniques to improve your kingdom. Devastating disasters such as fire, the plague, drought, and many more will test your skills. The game also introduces a new townie language for livelier interactions.
